Iti kho, bhikkhave, So, monks, 諸位比丘， desitaṃ vo mayā a-saṅkhataṃ, I’ve taught you the un-conditioned and 我已教導你們無為法， desito a-saṅkhata-gāmi-maggo. I’ve taught you the path that leads to the un-conditioned. 以及通往無為的道路。 Yaṃ, bhikkhave, satthārā karaṇīyaṃ Monks, what a teacher should do 諸位比丘，出於慈悲， sāvakānaṃ hitesinā anukampakena anukampaṃ upādāya, for the disciples, out of compassion, 一位老師應為弟子所做的， kataṃ vo taṃ mayā. I have done that for you. 我已為你們完成。 Etāni, bhikkhave, rukkha-mūlāni, Here, monks, are tree-roots. 在此，諸位比丘，有樹木為根。 etāni suññ'-āgārāni. Here are these empty huts. 在此，有空寂的茅舍。 Jhāyatha, bhikkhave, Practice jhāna, monks! 修習禪定，諸位比丘！ mā pamādattha; [Be assiduous!] Don’t be negligent. [當勤精進！] 莫要放逸。 mā pacchā vippaṭisārino ahuvattha. Don’t later regret it. 莫待日後追悔。 Ayaṃ vo amhākaṃ anu-sāsanīti. This is our instruction to you.” 此乃我對你們的教誡。
