The original picture, had your typical Buddha image, with highly exaggerated 32 marks of a great man,
such as the pineapple tumor growing out of the top of his head,
dumbo super large ears.

Using a free, great program you can get for windows PC operating systems, I did some cosmetic surgery and made the Buddha look human.
It only takes a few minutes once you learn how to use the paint program and have done a few operations.

How to make Buddha human in a few (relatively) easy steps
You need use these tools from the tool bar on the left side of Krita.
1. the eye dropper tool on left toolbar
samples a color from the image, when you cover your mouse over the eye dropper, it says "sample a color from the image or current layer".
click left mouse button on that eye dropper to activate it.
then move your cursor over to a part of the picture you want to grab a color from.
click left mouse button to select that color.
2. the brush icon on left toolbar
near the top left, icon that looks like a brush.
when you hover your mouse over that, it says "free hand brush tool"
select that.
2.1 then select which brush you want to use from the toolbar on the lower right part of the screen.
first row are 3 eraser brushes.
second row is air brush.
a few more rows down you have pencils.
For doing cosmetic surgery on Buddha, we're going to use airbrush, because when you draw with it,
it smooths out what the image used to look like, with "paint" from the new color you selected.
2.2 size of the brush: on the top toolbar, in the middle, where it says "size",
you can use your mouse to adjust the size of the brush.
3. use mouse to magnify and move to part of image you want to edit
using middle mouse button can control zoom in or out on your image, and left mouse button on vertical or horizontal scroll bars
to drive to the part of the picture you are working on.
Now we're ready to do some surgery!
To remove Buddha's pineapple tumor from image above,
what I did was:
1. use mouse to zoom in and center on the head tumor
2. use eye dropper tool to select palette color, I picked the light tan color on the halo right above his hair.
3. activate brush tool (left tool bar)
4. select first air brush tool (tool bar on lower right, 2nd row)
5. size the brush to something appropriate for cutting the tumor (top middle tool bar).
6. use the mouse and left mouse button (hold it down) to cut the tumor.
The same process is used to cut the dumbo ears down to size,
remove third eye from his forehead,
mustache if it's Tibetan art, etc.
With practice you can make any Buddha image look like a human.
I can do an operation in about 3 minutes now.
Example of another image where I did surgery in a few minutes
The Buddha's footprint is compared to the elephant's footprint, the largest of all animals.
Just as the smaller footprints of any other animal can fit inside an elephant's,
all skillful Dharmas can be contained within the Buddha's.
