sutta text: AN 3.16
In the day time, walking and sitting jhāna
In the first watch of the night, same
In the middle watch of the night
Sleep in lion posture with sati noting time to awake, about 4 hours from 10pm to 2am
In the last watch of the night, again sitting and walking jhāna (2am till sunrise)
Anywhere, any time, Any activity, any posture,
Note about jhāna in context of AN 3.16
Uses the phrase "purifying the mind of obstructive Dharmas" rather than "jhāna".
But that just means "remove 5 hindrances and get jhāna if you don't have the skill yet,
or be in jhāna if you do. (inferred from other suttas, see ♾️ 24/7 samādhi)
