0. hear Dhamma and memorize
Dhamma is in the form of linguistic, communicable verbal thought that you memorize
1. sati:
remember what you heard and think about that linguistic verbal thought (vitakka)
2. dhamma-vicaya:
investigate the Dharma with wisdom (pañña, sampajāno), vicāra (verbal thought exploration), vimamsa (thinking from 4 iddhi-pāda)
3. Viriya: vigor
Removing unskillful Dharmas, developing skillful ones.
4. pīti: mental joy, can be mild or rapturous
default value is mental joy from success at purifying your mind with Dhamma 24/7.
Can also be any type of spiritual joy connected to the skillful Dharma.
5. passaddhi: pacification
combination of bodily pacification, mental pacification, with mental engagement on Dhamma puts you in the four jhānas spectrum.
6. samādhi: undistractible-lucidity
7. Upekkha: equanimous observation
Use the power of four jhānas samādhi to observe Dhamma and awaken.
