SN 35.247 six animals (illustrated), combined with MN 119, SN 47.4, walking in jhāna

 sutta text:  SN 35.247

Sati is the post, at this stage 6 senses are still struggling and trying to pull away

With enough training, sati has pacified (passaddhi awakening factor) the 6 sense faculties (leading to 4 jhānas)

Connect the dots with other suttas like MN 119, SN 47.4

And you get a sense of what the Buddha meant talking about samādhi in all postures and activities, walking blissfully in jhāna.

MN 119 why would the Buddha ask you do 4 jhānas while you're walking, if it's impossible to do (according to Vism., Brahm, etc.)?
